Intern, Peter Goldmark for Public Lands Commissioner
The Peter Goldmark for Public Lands Commissioner campaign is looking to hire 1-2 interns to help win this dynamic and exciting statewide campaign that will restore the public’s trust in our
public lands. These positions will be tailored to individuals’ strengths. The ability to fill the positions through November is ideal, but not required.
Peter Goldmark is a second generation Okanogan rancher and wheat farmer, a former Director of Agriculture, molecular biologist and wheat breeder, longtime rural school board member, WSU
regent and father of five. Peter understands the issues that confront our public lands deeply and personally, and is committed to their sustainable management.
Peter Goldmark will restore public trust to an office currently more interested in furthering corporate interests than preserving the resources of the people of Washington State. Sales of public land to housing and strip mall developers, and policies that threaten water supply and quality for farms and fish are just a few of the reasons we need Peter Goldmark as our Commissioner of Public Lands.
