Support the Obama Administration's Powerful New Stance on Global Warming and bring as many friends as possible to the rally with you! President Obama and the Environmental Protection Agency need to hear from you and your friends. The EPA has concluded there is overwhelming evidence that greenhouse gases from fossil fuel combustion and vehicles endanger our health and welfare. This decision is the first step in establishing new rules to reduce global warming pollution.

They are holding two public hearings nationwide to seek public input on this decision, and one of them is in Seattle. Help show the EPA that the public is counting on them to recognize global warming as a threat to public health that needs to be dealt with now by rallying as many as your friends as you can to come!

Organizing Tools

Fuse provides online tools to help Rally Magnets in organizing your group.

• Go to http://fusewashington.org/page/group
• In the top left hand corner click the link to “sign up” for an account
• After you have signed up, you are automatically re-directed back to the “groups” page you can set up your own group. Click on the “create a group” button that turns orange when you mouse over it.
• You can create your group on this page by picking a name such as “(your name)’s EPA rally friends”
• The other details for the group are up to you. The zip code and description are required. The zip code you chose won’t exclude anyone. And here is an example of what you might want to include in your description: “I am inviting you to join me at a massive rally that will help convince the EPA to consider global warming a hazard to human health. I am working to get 10 friends to attend with me.”
• The other details about “Group Memberships and Permissions” are up to you to include or not. The fewer options you select the less group maintenance you will have to perform.
• Once your group is approved you can invite friends by clicking on the “invite friends” button in the top left hand corner of your group page.
• This next page allows you to enter the emails of your friends and family to join your group and attend the rally! Make sure to include the website info so people can get your page.
• The event will be listed in your group and all the information will be there to give to the 10 people you will bring with you to the rally!
