We Need Nationwide Vote By Mail
Even before the coronavirus outbreak, forcing people to wait in line for hours to vote was unjust and unnecessary.
Now, waiting in line has an entirely different meaning. In the coming months, as Americans worry about their health, their communities, and their families, we simply cannot ask them to risk any of those things by waiting in line to vote. Republicans in Wisconsin refused to allow voters to cast ballots by mail in their special election this week.
The Civic Voices Fellowship
The Civic Voices Fellowship works to mobilize youth throughout the Puget Sound and Southwest WA region to vote through traditional campaign outreach, community-based, and relational organizing tactics. Fellows will work in direct partnership with a local organization, on exciting races for progressive candidates, and to mobilize their own networks using both time-tested relational organizing in combination with new technology. This will be the second year of the program.
